Tetsuro Yoshikawa is a pioneering roboticist whose research has fundamentally shaped the fields of robot manipulation, space robotics, and autonomous assembly. His seminal work, "Analysis and Control of Robot Manipulators with Redundancy" (1983), with over 630 citations, established foundational principles for controlling robots with extra degrees of freedom, enabling more dexterous and adaptable manipulation.
