About
Shibin Zhu is a urologic surgeon and researcher whose work focuses on advancing minimally invasive prostate cancer surgery, particularly through robotic-assisted techniques. His major contributions center on identifying and managing rare but serious complications associated with novel surgical approaches. In a 2021 study, Zhu systematically characterized ligating clip migration after robot-assisted laparoscopic radical prostatectomy (RARP), documenting this troublesome complication that can lead to calculus formation and anastomotic stricture.
