Quoc Dien Trinh is a urologic oncologist and surgeon-scientist whose research has significantly advanced the understanding of robot-assisted radical prostatectomy (RARP) as a treatment for localized prostate cancer. His work centers on surgical oncology, minimally invasive urology, and outcomes research, with particular emphasis on biochemical recurrence, functional recovery, and lymph node involvement following robotic surgery. Trinh's most influential contribution is a landmark long-term oncological outcomes study following 4,803 patients undergoing RARP at a high-volume tertiary center, garnering 44 citations and establishing one of the largest datasets of its kind.
