Phil Rosenberg is a leading atmospheric scientist whose research focuses on the interactions between mineral dust, boundary layer dynamics, and climate processes, particularly in the world’s most extreme desert environments. His major contributions include advancing the understanding of how Saharan dust influences the atmospheric boundary layer—a critical but poorly understood component of the Earth system.
