Minki Baek is a leading figure in pediatric urology, with a focused expertise in robot-assisted laparoscopic surgery for congenital and acquired urinary tract conditions. His research centers on refining surgical techniques for complex procedures in children, particularly addressing the unique challenges of operating in smaller anatomical spaces. Baek’s major contributions include pioneering comparative studies that quantify the added difficulty of re-do pyeloplasty after failed primary surgery, demonstrating that while feasible, these revision procedures carry distinct perioperative risks.
