Luigina Graziosi is a leading figure in minimally invasive gastrointestinal surgery, with a primary focus on colorectal and gastric oncology. Her research centers on advancing laparoscopic and robotic techniques to improve patient outcomes in complex abdominal procedures. A major contribution is her work on segmental transverse colectomy, where her multicenter collaborative study (2021, 13 citations) critically evaluated the role of minimally invasive surgery for transverse colon cancer.
