Lorena Ceamanos is a pioneer at the intersection of smart materials and advanced manufacturing, whose work is fundamentally reshaping the fields of soft robotics and biomedical engineering. Her research centers on the development of 4D-printed liquid crystalline elastomers (LCEs), materials that can change shape over time in response to external stimuli.
