Dr. Guosong Jiang is a pioneering surgeon whose work sits at the intersection of advanced robotics and complex oncologic surgery. His primary research focus is the development and refinement of minimally invasive techniques for treating retroperitoneal tumors, particularly those involving major vascular structures. His most notable contribution is the first reported case of robot-assisted laparoscopic retroperitoneal leiomyosarcoma resection combined with inferior vena cava graft replacement, a landmark procedure detailed in his 2021 case report.
