Gerhard Rinkenauer is a leading researcher in human-robot collaboration, with a focus on the social and cognitive factors that shape safe and effective interactions in industrial settings. His work lies at the intersection of engineering psychology and human factors, exploring how robots’ physical motion, emotional expression, and spatial behavior influence human trust, comfort, and performance.
