About

Francis Lopez-Chilel is a pioneering researcher in the biomechanics and biomimetics of amphibious fishes, with a primary focus on the Northern Snakehead (*Channa argus*). His work uniquely bridges the gap between aquatic and terrestrial locomotion, exploring how mucus and scale anisotropy facilitate friction reduction and movement on land.
