Dr. Dong-zhu Zeng is a pioneering Chinese surgeon whose work has significantly advanced the application of robotic surgery in gastrointestinal oncology, particularly for rectal and gastric cancers. Based at Southwest Hospital, Dr. Zeng has been instrumental in demonstrating the feasibility, safety, and efficacy of the da Vinci robotic system for complex oncologic resections.
