About
Alberto Abrate is a leading urologic surgeon and researcher whose work centers on improving outcomes for patients with prostate cancer and kidney disease. His major contributions lie in two key areas: refining prostate cancer risk stratification and advancing minimally invasive surgical techniques. Abrate has been instrumental in validating the clinical utility of novel prostate-specific antigen isoforms, particularly p2PSA and the Prostate Health Index (PHI).
