About
F. Ye is a clinical oncologist and translational researcher whose work focuses on hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), with a particular emphasis on perioperative and combination immunotherapies. Ye’s major contributions center on integrating immune checkpoint inhibitors with anti-angiogenic agents to improve outcomes for high-risk HCC patients. In a landmark phase Ib study (2023), Ye demonstrated the safety and preliminary efficacy of combining TQB2450, a PD-L1 inhibitor, with anlotinib as a perioperative treatment for patients with HCC at high risk of recurrence—a challenging population with limited options. This work, which has garnered early citations, highlights Ye’s role in advancing neoadjuvant and adjuvant strategies that may reshape surgical management of liver cancer. Beyond this flagship trial, Ye’s research portfolio explores biomarker-driven approaches to personalize immunotherapy, aiming to identify which patients derive the greatest benefit. With a growing citation footprint and a focus on translating preclinical insights into clinical practice, Ye is emerging as a key figure in the evolution of HCC treatment, bridging the gap between systemic therapy and surgical oncology.
