Abstract
Telepresence robots provides solutions for physical interaction at distance using telecommunications technologies. Existing telepresence robots have applications in fields such as medicine, education, entertainment, space exploration, and industry. This paper presents the concept of a mesh network with telepresence robots for advertising, which can be used in public spaces such as parks, amusement parks, stadiums, but also in closed, populated spaces such as shopping malls and museums, to display images advertising and drawing public attention to them. From a constructive point of view, the mechanical component of the robot consists of a chassis on a metal structure, with four wheels for rough terrain and a screen/tablet holder. Data communications for one or more robots is achieved through a mesh network, using Lilygo TTGO LoRa32 V2.1-1.6, 433 MHz development boards located on the robot. The robot can be teleoperated within a radius of about one kilometer but can move and recognize obstacles autonomously with the help of a software based on neural logic and running on an Arduino Mega 2560 development board.
