Abstract

Robotic Process Automation (RPA) technologies can improve maritime operations by streamlining workflows, elevating efficiency, diminishing costs, and enhancing customer interactions. By automating routine activities such as data input, document processing or cargo monitoring, RPA minimizes human errors, decreases the dependency on manual labor, and safeguards valuable time. These technologies lead to faster processes, fostering quicker response times and strengthened customer engagement. ASL4RPA is a user-friendly language. The ASL4RPA allows us to surpass specific RPA technologies by providing a pseudocode notation, making it universally understandable and user-friendly. ASL4RPA not only increases precision but also promotes the automation of standard operations, fostering the creation of platform-independent solutions., ASL4RPA's advantages are demonstrated through practical examples, including pseudocode usage that encourages collaborative efforts, decreases error rates, and speeds up the development of RPA initiatives. In this paper, we highlight the significance of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) in enhancing cybersecurity within the maritime industry. RPA is a pivotal tool for automating critical monitoring and management tasks in security processes. This automation fosters collaborative efforts, substantially reduces error rates, and accelerates the development of RPA initiatives. By integrating RPA, we aim to significantly bolster the protection and resilience of maritime systems against the increasingly sophisticated landscape of cyber threats. This approach is essential for safeguarding sensitive data and maintaining robust security protocols in the face of evolving digital risks.
