Abstract

This study explores the role of humanoid robots in leadership in project management, focusing on their alignment with transformational and ethical leadership principles. It examines decision-making processes, human oversight, team dynamics, ethical considerations, and the benefits and challenges of AI-driven leadership in project management. Case studies of Mika and Tang Yu highlight AI’s strengths in efficiency and data-driven decision-making, while emphasizing limitations in emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills. Ethical frameworks, such as the EU AI Act and China’s Guidelines for Humanoid Robot Governance, stress the importance of transparency, accountability, and human oversight. The research concludes that a hybrid model combining AI capabilities with human empathy and ethical judgment is essential for responsible and effective leadership.
