Abstract
Recently, networks have come to be used for human support such as remote control of robots. In remote control, haptic and picture information are needed. Haptic information is local, and it must be transmitted instantly. However, in conventional wireless communication, long delay exists. We proposed OFDM subcarrier selection for real-time wireless communication. In transmission, data are separated into hard real-time and soft real-time. For hard real-time, time interleaving is not used, and subcarriers that have high received power were allocated. By computer simulations, it was shown than real-time wireless communication was possible.
