Progress in the Research of Parallel Machine Tool

Abstract

As the result of synthesizing machine tools with robot technology, parallel machine tools have many advantages compared as the classical ones. This paper briefly introduces the future prospective of parallel machine tools, points out some key issues that should be tackled for design and manufacture.
