Abstract
Describes 2 walking robots developed at CSIC, Madrid: RIMHO, an experimental quadruped robot with insect-like legs; and ROWER, a ship-building robot consisting of the robot body surrounded by 4 legs which each grip rigid bars both below and above the body. Also discusses SILO, a project considering outstanding problems in walking robots. (3 pages)
