Abstract

The paper is devoted to the description of acoustic communication system, which is designed for communication between robots YROBOT. The communication system is an extension of the mobile device YROBOT and facilitates the development and verification of simple modulation schemes used in RF communication. The paper describes the motivation of the development of such an application, designed circuit solution, structure of the software and the results of preliminary experiments. In conclusion we note that most of the problems encountered in digital RF communications (such as signal attenuation, inter-symbol interference) occur even in the case of communication based on acoustics. It is clear that, thanks to much slower acoustic wave propagation, the above problems occur at lower frequencies of the modulation signal.
