Design of supply schemes of firefighting mediums for fire-fighting robot in transformer substation

Abstract
Fire-fighting robot plays an important role in the construction of unmanned substations and guaranteeing the fire safety of substations. In order to provide various fire-extinguishing mediums such as dry powder, firewater and foam for substation firefighting robots, supply scheme of firefighting medium is designed in this paper. A standard dry powder tank is installed on the robot body to store dry powder, which is convenient for quick replacement, so the efficiency can be increased. A supply equipment of fire medium is designed to provide firefighting water and foam for substation firefighting robot by connecting with the robot. The mixing proportion of foaming agent and firewater can be adjusted to several ratios. Supercharging of firewater and foam can be realized by booster pump to increase the injection distance of robot. The robot was indicated to have powerful fire-fighting capacity by the fire tests. The firefighting ability of substation firefighting robot can be greatly improved by the design of fire medium supply scheme for power station firefighting robot. It is of great significance to safety and stably operating of the power grid.
