Prototype Development of Home Concierge Robot using ECHONET-Lite

Abstract

In this paper, by linking the smart house using ECHONET-Lite and an interactive home robot via a network, specific power saving advice can be given to the user from the power consumption information acquired in the home, etc. We propose a robot-based communication system for home appliance control. Specifically, we aim at the development of a robot like a home concierge who is able to provide natural conversations with people in addition to power saving advice and can also provide various information about life information such as weather information, etc.
