Evaluation Exercise in the Seminar for Standard Test Method of Ground Robot at Fukushima Robot Test Field

Abstract

A seminar to study the standard test method of the robot which can gather information at disaster sites and survey infrastructure have been held since 2018 in Japan by NEDO and MSTC. The author of this paper is one of teachers of the seminar about test methods for ground robots. In this paper, the evaluation exercises in the simulated plant and tunnel at the Fukushima Robot Test Field are reported. The attendees of the exercises can deeply and completely understand the test methods by the experience in the exercises.
