Abstract
Robotic Process Automation (RPA) is a modern technology that automates rule-based processes with software that utilizes the user interface (by mimicking human action). RPA can help organizations improve operational efficiency and effectiveness quicker and at a lower cost than other automation approaches. By automating repetitive tasks, RPA frees up employees’ time to focus on more rewarding tasks that require human judgement and cognitive skills, such as speaking to customers and reading free-format emails. RPA can also improve data security and compliance with regulations, which aligns with the company’s business strategy of improving data accuracy, compliance, and productivity.
