L’Internet des Objets, l’Internet of “Everything” : quelques remarques sur l’intensification du plissement numérique du monde

Abstract

Nous proposons un survol rapide de ce que pourrait tre un ensemble (ouvert) de problmatiques et recherches menes partir du champ des SHS et visant les multiples dynamiques du plissement numrique du monde en cours dans le cadre de l'Internet des Objets. Nous indiquons dans le mme temps quelques repres pointant l'tendue de l'volution bio-technique et bio-politique par des moyens non-organiques, volution qui est au coeur de l'artificialisation du monde ainsi que l'extension des processus de robotique et de l'automatisation. Nous montrons aussi les effets qu' l'Internet des Objets sur nos milieux d'intelligence ainsi que son couplage de plus en plus massif avec la transformation du milieu urbain. Cette artificialisation des milieux urbains allant de pair avec le renforcement de la classe moyenne consumriste mondiale. La tendance converger de manire de plus en plus explicite, d'une physique sociale et d'une biosocialit radicalement nouvelle, ouvre un champ vaste de rflexions et soulve de nombreux problmes. L'Internet des Objets exprime la profondeur et le caractre incertain de l'volution anthropologique et collective qui s'actualise sous nos yeux. ABSTRACT. We propose a brief look of what could be an (open) set of problems and researches constructed from the field of SHS and aimed at the multiple dynamics of the digital folding of the current world and within the framework of the Internet of the Objects. At the same time, we point to a few markers to the extent of bio-technical and bio-political evolution by non-organic means, which is at the heart of the "artificialization of the world" as well as the extension of robotic and automation processes. We also show the effects that the Internet of the Objects has on our "milieux of intelligence" as well as its increasingly strong coupling with the transformation of the urbanization process. This artificialization of urban environments goes hand in hand with the emergence of the global consumerist middle class. Moreover, radically new social physics and biosociality (associated with Big Data) tend to converge more and more explicitly. This opens up a vast field of reflection and raises many problems. The Internet of the Objects expresses the depth and the uncertain character of the anthropological and collective evolution that is now actualizing.
