Abstract
An efficient first grasp for a wheelchair robotic hand with pressure sensing determined and learned by combining the advantages of neural networks and fuzzy logic into a hybrid control algorithm. Modifications to standard approaches are outlined. Basic approaches are demonstrated in preparation for future physical implementation.< <ETX xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">></ETX>
