Abstract

Disabled people with disabilities upper arms, elbows are more difficult to behave everyday life. The normal artificial arm cannot be used to hold the device easily. Development of a robotic arm can help to hold the prosthetic hand. It will help the disabled people to stay more comfortable. The main structure of the mechanical arm is made by using lightweight aluminum. Moving fingers using servo motors and push-pull fingers by sling. However, sensor which is communicate with human being is the main issue. Using sensor pad or mechanical movement sensor are impossible to assembly to people who disabilities at upper arms. Research presents sensor system using EMG sensor. EMG uses principle of electromyography by measure electrical signal which generate directly from muscle. To control the servo motor. Artificial arm is design by human physiology. 3D printer is printed to create the real artificial arm and finger. Using this system is quite difficult to control because user do not have the experience to control the energy from muscle. The user has to train the movement of the back muscles.
