Abstract
Food industry is a market with a promising future for manufacturers of industrial robots. Worldwide there is an increasing demand for industrially produced foods. Furthermore within the current manual production there are also quite often unfavourable working conditions. This paper gives a review of the challenges, approaches and future developments in the field of industrial robotics in food production.
