Abstract

This work explores the design of a low cost microcircuit platform that is light weight, energy efficient and highly capable in stimulating insect brain, logging sensory data and using it to model and control its neuromuscular pathway, all in real-time. The results are encouraging and opens up avenues for miniature bio-robots.
