Abstract

Abstract Robotic vehicles operating indoors may be unable to receive the GPS signals that are commonly used for navigational control. This article describes an inexpensive system for location measurement in the absence of GPS with a range of 7.5 m and a resolution of 3 cm for a mass‐produced cost of under $100. © 2002 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
