Overview
FibreFORM is a high rate automated layup system for manufacturing composite structures such as aircraft wing skins or engine nacelles. It uses a 3D conformal pick and place end effector with high flow vacuum grippers to lay up large-format composite plies up to 20 metres long into geometrically complex moulds with precision. The system is modular, scalable, and can operate in horizontal, vertical, or inverted planes. It features powerful software that reads CAD data and automatically generates gripper configurations.
