Overview

Caracol has developed the Vipra AM, a turnkey robotic platform for large-scale metal DED 3D printing. It integrates hardware, software and automation, leveraging WAAM processing. Two configurations are offered: Vipra XQ (Extreme Quality) using plasma arc deposition for high-quality components, and Vipra XP (Extreme Productivity) for maximum throughput. The platform is designed for applications such as load-bearing parts, lightweight structures, molds, cladding, repair and on-demand spare parts.
