摘要

This paper introduces MARVIN (Multi-faceted Adaptive Robotic Virtual Intelligence Nucleus), a groundbreaking living pet robot designed to revolutionize HRI(human-robot interaction). MARVIN’S design is inspired by the charm and companionship of traditional pets while utilizing advanced technologies to overcome traditional constraints. The robot is equipped with an array of sensors, including visual, auditory, and tactile, enabling it to perceive. MARVIN is programmed to recognize users. MARVIN engages in meaningful conversations, providing companionship, entertainment, and even assistance in daily tasks. MARVIN can manipulate Smart Home with Natural Commands(English). A variety of metrics are used to assess MARVIN’S performance, including user engagement, speed, accuracy, command handling, and flexibility. The study explores the difficulties involved in building a living companion robot and highlights the significance of conscientious and responsible development. The creation and application of these cutting-edge technologies add to the continuing discussion on the societal effects of intelligent robotic companions for human-robotic interaction (HRI).
