摘要

For some underwater structures with a large range of motion, there inevitably exists fluid-structure interaction during the operation. The underwater robotic arms used for recovery of autonomous underwater vehicles generally have a large range of motion, a high speed and obvious FSI. In this paper, a two-way FSI simulation method is proposed based on the dynamic overset hybrid grid and smoothing of dynamic grid technology, aiming to investigate the hydrodynamics coefficients, flow field characteristics, structural deformation, and stress of the URA. Results show that the proposed two-way FSI simulation method can solve the complex motion and deformation of the URA effectively and precisely.
