摘要

This paper presents a case study of collaborative human-robot construction, in the form of a 10-day workshop in robotically assisted construction of curved timber surfaces. The construction process developed for the workshop shows that employing computational design in combination with industrial robots can result in a demand for various kinds of labor, with a range of skill levels: in addition to tasks requiring specialized computational design skills, the proposed construction process also leads to simplification of construction tasks, by eliminating the need to measure on-site.
