About
Yutaka Hirose is a leading innovator in advanced CMOS image sensor (CIS) technology, with a primary focus on long-range, high-resolution 3D time-of-flight (ToF) ranging systems. His most cited work introduces a groundbreaking 1200×900 pixel Geiger-mode vertical avalanche photodiode (Gm-APD) CIS capable of capturing 450 frames per second.
