Dr. T. A. Kishore is a pioneering urological surgeon whose work has significantly advanced minimally invasive techniques in complex genitourinary reconstruction and transplantation. His research focuses on refining surgical access to reduce morbidity while maintaining oncologic and functional outcomes. Dr. Kishore is best known for his seminal 2010 study on robotic-assisted radical cystectomy with orthotopic ileal neobladder formation through a modified Pfannenstiel incision (24 citations), which demonstrated that a low, cosmetic transverse incision could safely accommodate both the extirpative and reconstructive phases of this demanding procedure.
