Michele De Rosa is a pioneering minimally invasive surgeon whose work centers on advancing robotic and laparoscopic techniques for complex gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary conditions. His major contributions lie in demonstrating the feasibility and safety of robotic surgery in high-risk scenarios, including emergency repairs of strangulated giant hiatal hernias and combined colorectal-liver resections for metastatic disease.
