About
Mehdi Mirakhorli is a leading researcher in software engineering, with a primary focus on software traceability, architecture, and security. His work addresses the critical challenge of maintaining traceability links in large-scale software projects, traditionally a labor-intensive task often deferred until project completion. In his highly cited 2012 paper, "Breaking the big-bang practice of traceability: Pushing timely trace recommendations to project stakeholders," Mirakhorli pioneered a novel approach to deliver trace recommendations in real-time, enabling developers to create and maintain links incrementally throughout development.
