About

Lili Lin is a pioneering surgeon and researcher advancing the frontier of minimally invasive gynaecological surgery through robotic innovation. Her primary research focuses on single-port robotic systems, ambulatory surgery, and myomectomy techniques, with a particular emphasis on translating novel technologies from bench to bedside. Dr. Lin led the first-in-human trial of the Shurui® system (SR-ENS-600), a fully integrated single-port robot featuring bioinspired serpentine manipulators, published in a 2024 IDEAL stage 2a study (3 citations). This landmark work demonstrated the feasibility of a new generation of surgical robotics for gynaecological procedures. She also reported the initial experience of robotic-assisted laparoendoscopic single-site intraligamental myomectomy as ambulatory surgery, showcasing a paradigm shift toward same-day discharge for complex myoma cases (2 citations). Her contributions are defining new standards in patient recovery and surgical precision. By pioneering these less invasive approaches, Dr. Lin is shaping the future of gynaecological surgery, making it safer, more accessible, and less burdensome for women worldwide.
