Giuseppe Marulli is a pioneering thoracic surgeon whose career has been defined by his groundbreaking contributions to robotic and minimally invasive surgery for thymic diseases. His research has fundamentally shaped the adoption of robotic-assisted thymectomy as a viable alternative to traditional open approaches, particularly for patients with myasthenia gravis and early-stage thymoma.
