About

Amadeus Hornemann is a pioneering gynecologic surgeon whose work has centered on advancing minimally invasive surgery through robotic and three-dimensional (3D) visualization technologies. His primary research focus has been the development and clinical assessment of robot-assisted laparoscopic devices, particularly the Einstein Vision® system, to enable solo-surgeon procedures. Hornemann’s major contributions include demonstrating the feasibility and safety of solo robotic hysterectomy, showing that a single surgeon can effectively perform complex laparoscopic surgeries using a robotic camera holder.
