About
Alina D. Zamfir is a prominent analytical chemist and mass spectrometry specialist whose research has fundamentally advanced the structural characterization of complex biomolecules, particularly gangliosides, glycosaminoglycans, and glycosphingolipids. Her most celebrated contributions center on the development and application of fully automated chip-based nanoelectrospray ionization mass spectrometry — an innovative platform she has pioneered for high-throughput, high-sensitivity glycoscreening and sequencing.
