Adrian Podoleanu is a pioneering figure in biomedical optics, best known for his transformative contributions to optical coherence tomography (OCT) and multimodal endoscopic imaging. His research centers on developing advanced, high-resolution imaging systems that bridge the gap between macroscopic surgical guidance and microscopic tissue diagnosis.
