Research and Application of Robot Vision Sensors

Abstract

Vision sensors are important tools for robots to know the outside world. They have been used in many different fields. These sensors help robots know their surrounding environment clearly. This helps make robots more intelligent. Robots are changing from just following orders to making decisions on their own. Vision sensors play a very important role in this change. The development of sensor technology is closely linked to big improvements in robots' sensing ability. This paper aims to study how robot vision sensors work, their use cases and the challenges they meet. It analyzes current vision sensor technologies and their development trends. The paper puts forward future research directions. It also sums up the advantages and future uses of vision sensors in the robot field.
