This literature review examines global supply chain management's challenges and emerging opportunities. It highlights the impact of geopolitical conflicts, trade conflicts, and natural disasters on supply chain stability, emphasizing the need for resilience and adaptability. Concurrently, the paper explores how Digitalization, AI, and advanced technologies such as automation, robotics, blockchain, 5G, and IoT offer innovative solutions to enhance transparency, efficiency, and responsiveness. The study also discusses the implications of policies like the Belt and Road Initiative and the potential of emerging markets, particularly in Africa, to reshape global supply chains. The paper underscores the importance of strategic planning for enterprises to navigate the dynamic global landscape effectively.
