Abstract

Integrating machinery, tools, and vehicles into IoT networks has enhanced the capabilities for developing digital replicas of equipment and products through computer systems powered by artificial intelligence. Today, both manual tasks and decision-making processes are supported by technology. Elements such as cloud services, simulation, the Internet of Things, data analytics, 3-D printing, robotics, augmented reality, and cybersecurity comprise Industry 4.0. Nonetheless, there is a general assumption that as automation grows, so does standardization, reducing human involvement. The pace of technological advancement is remarkably rapid. Consumers increasingly prefer customized products, which highlights the need for human involvement in Industry 4.0, leading to the emergence of Industry 5.0. The primary focus is on reintegrating people into the industrial framework. To enhance production efficiency, both machines and humans will collaborate. This is achieved using collaborative robots, known as cobots and bots. There is a frequent interaction between cognitive computing and human intelligence. Companies must prioritize developing sustainable methods to harness renewable energy and reduce waste.
