Abstract
Water is an essential resource in life. Waste disposal in water hurts the water quality and leads to water pollution. Effective waste removal in water sources such as lakes, ponds, and rivers is essential for waste management and control. In India, aquatic waste management and control is of main concern for implementing in smart cities and achieving the mission of a cleaner India. Toxic substances get established in the water bodies, which are too harmful and hazardous for the living organisms and human workers who clean them. It also creates several diseases, such as diarrhea, typhoid, cholera, polio, etc. To resolve these issues, this research aims to design an automatic robot that clears the water bodies without risking human lives. The smart robot is also easy to operate. This proposed system works effectively for collecting trash as well as sorting it into metal and non-metal, whereas the existing systems do not have such a facility in their robots. Some collect only trash from the waters and cannot separate metals from non-metals. Thus, the robot in this research paper has proven more efficient and useful. It is also spreading awareness about the need to clean and preserve water and encouraging the citizens to contribute to such environmental acts.
