Abstract
The continuous advancement of orthodontic appliances is essential for enhancing their effectiveness and efficiency.The development of orthodontic technology, particularly with the integration of robotics, holds significant potential to transform the field of oral health by improving both orthodontic devices and general dental care.Robotics has emerged as a promising area in orthodontics, revolutionizing the discipline, following its successful applications in dentistry, medicine, and industry.The primary goal of incorporating robotics into orthodontics is to improve precision and streamline treatment processes, thereby enhancing the overall efficiency of orthodontic appliances.This review article is based on a thorough literature review conducted using advanced electronic search methods.The data gathered has been analyzed to offer a comprehensive overview of the intersection between robotics and orthodontics, emphasizing progress in research and development in this interdisciplinary field.The article not only outlines the current state of robotics in orthodontics but also provides a forward-looking perspective, summarizing potential areas for future research.By exploring the synergy between robotics and orthodontics, this review seeks to contribute to the ongoing discussion on innovative advancements in oral health care.
