Abstract
The intelligentization of tower cranes can significantly improve construction efficiency. To this end, this paper explores a remote control system for autonomous tower cranes, integrating a five-dimensional digital twin model. First, a five-dimensional digital twin model for the tower crane’s remote control system is proposed, and a robot model for the tower crane along with an operational scenario model is constructed, achieving the integration of both. Real-time positioning within the scenario is achieved through RTK positioning technology, and dynamic path planning is implemented using a path planning algorithm. Finally, a remote control platform for the tower crane was developed, validating the effectiveness of the proposed method and achieving remote control and cyber-physical integration of the tower crane.
